Defy washing machine
Is your Defy Washing Machine not filling up with water? Don't worry - you're not alone! In this guide, we'll walk you through how to diagnose and troubleshoot the issue so that you can get your washing machine back in working order.
First, you’ll want to inspect the hoses and fittings that lead from the water connection port to your washing machine. Look for any signs of leaking, kinks, or other damage in the hoses and fittings that could be preventing water from entering your washing machine. If there are any signs of damage, you should replace the hoses and fittings before continuing.
Before diagnosing the filling issue, you should double check that the wash cycle is set correctly. If the washing machine isn’t set to fill with water properly, it won’t be able to do so no matter what else you try. Check the setting and make sure it’s correct in order to get your Defy Washing Machine up and running again!
If your Defy Washing Machine still isn’t filling up correctly, the next step is to make sure there is sufficient water pressure in order to allow your machine to fill up with water. To do this, check the main valve and any other valves leading in and out of your washing machine. Make sure they are all open to ensure that there’s enough water pressure for it to fill up properly.
In some cases, debris from the filter may be obstructing the flow of water into your machine. You will need to clean out the filter before it can successfully begin filling up with water. To do this, disconnect your washing machine from the power supply and remove the inlet pipe connected to it. Remove any debris that may have built up and then close off all valves before plugging back in and testing its ability to fill with water.
